The Whitehall House Reception Hall: A CREW 2 CREW Business Collaboration!

The Whitehall House Reception Hall is a CREW 2 CREW business collaboration by CREW Pittsburgh members Missy Powell, MBM Contracting, and Virginia Weida, Virginia Weida Designs LLC.

MBM and Virginia Weida Designs were part of the large team of companies who brought this facility to completion. The client, John F. Slater Funeral Home, wanted to add a convenient place on-site for families to gather, and the idea of The Whitehall House was born. A non-denominational chapel was added to the original Funeral Home building as a part of the overall work.

It took many years for the property to be secured, developed, and designed by the architects and engineers. Once it was time for construction, MBM served as the general contractor, and Virginia Weida Designs coordinated the interior finish & lighting selections, furniture, and catering kitchen equipment. The Whitehall House is now available for rental for family gatherings, including luncheons, dinners, showers and weddings, and business gatherings alike. CREW Pittsburgh utilized this space to host the 2022 Annual Holiday Party!

As both companies are based in the South Hills, they have worked together on some fun projects and look forward to more in the future!
